Not the answer you're looking for? I am using MS Windows Embedded Compact 7.0, Build 2806, the IP address provided by my network admin has been specified manually, as well as subnet mask, default gateway and both Which OS and kernel version do you use?

For some reason the only network connection I get is VMINI1 which gets an IP address and it says the address type is DHCP. 1 - There is no DHCP server PS: In case you were wondering: I'm not using DHCP and I do not have access to a DHCP server. You can either enable file sharing, or go to the Advanced tab, then under ICMP, click Settings. I did read something when searching that suggests you'll get this error code if there's no reply.
I don't have my device in front of me to walk you through the process but I believe that you can check the logs like thisclick on the wireless icon in So it seems like this might just be that ping is not supported (or not working for some reason) on the USB activesync connection.
