Pidgin Error 11004
jao says: June 27, 2009 at 7:37 pm Even in Pidgin 2.4.1 Ubuntu 8.04 Hardy, cn.scs.msg.yahoo.com works . . . Which makes the chat somehow complicated. Any other suggestions? The most common cause of this error is entering your email address instead of your Yahoo! http://iipseconline.com/pidgin-error/pidgin-error-message-11004.html

Are you having problems with other protocols, too? Kind of pisses me off that yahoo pulled the plug. Once done, I am able to access Yahoo chat rooms as before. Guillaume Tremblay Beaumont (guizzy) said on 2008-08-03: #9 Or try port 8080 instead of 1048 if it doesn't work.

The problem seems to be associated with the Yahoo server itself. In case anyone was fooling around with their advanced tab, mine was as follows: Pager port: 5050 File transfer server: filetransfer.msg.yahoo.com File transfer port: 80 Chat room locale: us Encoding: UTF-8 Mine just went down today..I updated my to 2.5.8 (U3 version) and still doesn't work. check over here Will says: June 29, 2009 at 9:45 pm Uhh..
