Ive logged in on two different xp computers. Any idea what the problem is, and how to fix it? Just that what you're seeing differs from the manual? There is a call to timezone_identifiers_list() in the global space that gets triggered before we can do anything about checking versions or including files.

Remember that 5.1.x is now in full release and this function *should be* included per documentation already linked above. However, the checking that KarenS put in apparently isn't working, because we ran into this same error today. :( Fatal error: Call to undefined function: timezone_open() in /sites/all/modules/date/date_api.module. I think the main problem is that you can go along for quite a while with errors in hook_requirements without ever noticing them, since they only show up in a couple
I have no idea what the issue was on the other server though. I changed the way that was set up, then tested a PHP 4 install by trying to install a module with multiple dependencies without any of the dependent modules being available thanks again Alex Harrington (alexharrington) said on 2009-04-30: #13 Glad to help. Or does an Ajax box pop up and dissapear or?

Rats. https://forum.piwik.org/t/fatal-error-call-to-undefined-function-timezone-identifiers-list/2573 Therefore, it should be conditionally called according to the PHP version, since it would be better to skip the timezone check and let the rest of the checks run. Many thanks for your efforts in getting us going. Please post link to any ideas (eg DOM issue? - whatever that is/was) - preferably without complete reinstall if it can be avoided - thanks Alex Harrington (alexharrington) said on 2009-04-28:
I've put up some screenshots of 1.0.1 (which looks identical to 1.0.0-final) so you can see what it should look like: http://wiki.xibo.org.uk/wiki/File:Settings-1.0.1.png http://wiki.xibo.org.uk/wiki/File:Report-Fault-1.0.1.png http://wiki.xibo.org.uk/wiki/File:Media-1.0.1.png http://wiki.xibo.org.uk/wiki/File:Layout-1.0.1.png Cheers Alex Dan Garner (dangarner) said check over here I've read your message a couple of times and I don't really understand what you're saying the problem is with layouts and media? I'd hold off upgrading for now. Note double colon.

Running this: shell> php -r "print_r(timezone_identifiers_list());" Produces this: PHP Fatal error: Call to undefined function timezone_identifiers_list() in Command line code on line 1 Anyone know why I'm getting this error? But it's not. It will put your Xibo installation into a "test" mode where all the PHP errors will be outputted to the browser.
Now to think about groups users and content.

For the time being, I just copied your '495'=>'Europe/Berlin', but not sure what effect this has, if any. Clicking on background etc does nothing. I think we should be able to give you a patch which will hard-code your timezone to UK - but obviously once we implement either of the above suggestions you will Login Login to your account post messages.

We revise spec to 5.1.0 and test for that function in the installer / updater 2.
In order to get 5.2 you'd need to upgrade to Hardy (8.04). This function is only avaiable when php was compiled with "-DEXPERIMENTAL_DATE_SUPPORT". After doing this you should run this SQL to switch back to production mode. Or do you have a specific problem.
