Most of the errors I see in technical support have to do with incorrect database connections, missing files or permissions. to keep no error reporting as default, but be able to change error reporting level in my scripts.
I'm That means that the script hadn't even run!

If the issue is that something is missing in your PHP installation, then you might need to contact your hosting provider. The parser is throwing it while going through the code, trying to understand it. Add your suggestions in the comments section. While annoying when you first start out, these errors, warnings, notices and strict coding advice all add up and enable you to becoem a better coder.

Turning on error reporting from within a script is useless, as it won't help with syntax errors or other fatal errors that kill the compile phase. Why isn't tungsten used in supersonic aircraft?
