Pixma Ip6600d Error Code 6a00
Turn off power and then back on again. I pushed the white mechanism towards the back of the printer along it's track and out popped a tiny wad of paper.You'll know you're close when you get ink all over Reinstall the cartridge and try printing. I followed the instructions to reseat the ink holder home pad, and the 6A00 Error problem was resolved! check over here
I have a canon PIXMA mp530. As other have indicated, there are many things that can cause the purge cleaning station to lock up. I gave this a clean with a cotton budd(q-tip) and it started working again. Credit card-sized paper should only be loaded in the ASF and in portrait orientation. 4" x 6" sized paper can be loaded in the ASF or cassette.

Removed that, got inky fingers, and vwallah, printer is working.P.S. I've tried many of the suggestions recommended on this forum, including cleaning the print head and other areas that I can reach and/or remove, and making sure the purge cleaning station Recently have been printing 4x6 color photos, probably around 60-70 the past couple of months, using the cassette. Repeat until the paper towel is relatively clear.5.

This fixed my IP3000 as well. check my blog Just the rectangular thingy had to be moved down....thanks - unknown my sponge was stuck. The “L” shaped piece was moved forward out of its place. I think the "poke" that fixed it was when I pushed down a little harder than gently on the printer head. The spring finally popped off the purge unit and I'm calling it quits. this content Suggested I drive 60 miles to the nearest service center.
Went through a few possible solutions and then they said they will send me another new printer (Printer # 4). I kept pushing the reset button until the unit was completely warmed up.

Now that the power is off, you can move the printhead asm to the far left and this will give you a little more room to access the purge unit. I moved the print head but that did nothing and the opening to the printer where the ink is , is not very large. If so, see if you can get it unstuck. have a peek at these guys Try this again and when you see the rocker arm go down, pull the power cord immediatley.

Yay!! Concentrating around the hinges of the cover. I have rebooted several times. Using an inkjet printer that is out of ink is a bit like running a car without oil.

I have looked for the white purge unit to jiggle it but am unsure of where it is (to the right?). This takes quite firm pressure. The money they loose adds up. both my lights flash and the print head does not slide (except manually).
