I have transferred via ripping and burning about 950 songs from CDs (mostly commercial, but some homemade) to my Win7 computer and then to 32GB flash drives. If the same files were ok or not ok across different FD's it leads me to think there is something fishy about those files that don't work. They probably have 2.5'' drives sitting around. The load time is no no more than 30s (not too shabby). I was wondering if you were up against the 699 folder limit but it sounds like you probably are not, depending on how you loaded the songs.
